Job Title: Systems and Stock Operations Manager
Location: Washington
Description: The Systems and Stock Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in bedding in the new systems & processes and the continuing effective management and maintenance of these in close liaison with the Warehouse Operations Manager.

The ideal candidate will have extensive distribution management experience, not purely in systems roles, plus GDS Voice and RF experience. You will also have proven experience of stock management and space management– specifically the MDMS and DTRT processes. You should have the ability to manage teams and influence at all levels. Clothing knowledge would be an advantage but is not essential.
Responsibilities: • Full ownership and responsibility for all Software systems on site- Delivery of COE, liaison with ASDA ISD and ownership of all systems developments
• Full ownership and responsibility for all Hardware and related kit on site-Delivery of COE
• Ownership of stock integrity and stock management- driving EDLC and LCTO through efficiency of systems and Management of systems team on site- (systems line manager(s) is/are direct report) and driving efficiency savings through streamlined, multi-skilled team structure processes
• Operating as key player in network including benchmarking between sites to drive best in cluster focus
• Direct involvement and partnership with the warehouse operational team ensuring that systems and site are mutually supportive
• Partnership with site Ops and Distribution managers to drive DMI, DTRT, DIP and WLS improvements and to drive ASDA Culture throughout site
• To manage the stockholding capacity of the boxed miniload and CLS floor layouts including Space Management team to develop and maintain segregation of product to stores. • To develop One Best Way of working in conjunction with SOMs in the clothing network and identifying system enhancements and business cases for changes to be assessed and implemented
• To engage with the forthcoming GLS module which will supersede GDS in next 2 years
