Financial Services is a rapidly growing area of the business and a maternity cover opportunity has arisen for the role of Marketing Manager for payments, life insurances and savings.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and working closely with the product management team and our partners, you will work on a 12 month planning horizon, developing marketing plans to execute the corresponding campaigns in line with the plan and financial targets. This is a very demanding role in a fast moving area of the business with a real focus on measurable results. Closing date: 05.01.10.

| Responsibilities: |
- Responsible for the delivery of the marketing for the Asda credit card, life insurance, over 50’s and child trust fund products
- Developing and executing marketing plans to deliver acquisition in line with product plans and financial targets
- The role will cover a range of channels and activities - from integrated store campaigns through to targeted direct mail, DRTV and a wide breadth of online activity
- Managing our partners/ suppliers

| Requirements and Qualifications: |
- Analytical ability - the ability to analyse information, development insight and direct efforts towards the maximum return
- Strong direct marketing background
- Excellent budget management and results analysis is also a must
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Ability to work very closely with different FS providers and their account teams - as well as different agencies from creative, and media through to print
- Being able to delegate and matrix manage people effectively as your role will rely heavily on the use of partner marketing teams and agencies to help deliver your plans and to meet timescales
- Strong organisational skills are essential to manage multiple campaigns at a time
- Ability to manage workloads and work within tight timelines
- Team player
- Ideally have a financial services background
