The Project & Order Administration team sits within the Central Support team in Retail Development. The Central Support team is split into the following areas Contract Support and Systems, Programme Strategy, Strategic Supply & EDLC, and Cost Management. Project & Order Administration sits within and supports the Cost Management team. The role is integral part of the Retail Development process, responsible for coordinating and administrating all approvals for Capital Schemes delivered by the department. Project & Order Administration team being a pivotal area has a constant workload reflected by the size of the Retail Development programme.

| Responsibilities: |
• Raising project approval requests for around the business in the electronic sign off system (CER).
• Loading approved funding requests onto the finance package SAP.
• Placing all purchase orders to suppliers for equipment, services and associated fees for all project types within the Capital Plan.
• Communicating project financial status to internal and external customers.
• The management of supplier debt and improving First Time Match Rate (FTMR) by ensuring all orders are receipted for payment in agreed timescales. Liaising with other departments in Asda House and external consultants to ensure orders are raised correctly, in line with the agreed prices and within the agreed lead times.
• Challenging other departments and external consultants to work to the agreed procedures and timescales.

• Housekeeping of systems and project closures.
• Providing support to the Cost Managers by updating monthly reports
