A fantastic opportunity has arisen in the Graduate Team for a Resourcing Advisor to join the team. As a team we look at innovative and low cost ways to attract and recruit the best Graduate talent into Asda. You will be part of a team that has responsibility for bringing the right people into Asda across Retail, Distribution and the Asda House Graduate Schemes. This role is a great opportunity to be involved in recruitment from a high volume perspective, with responsibility for the graduate resourcing strategy across all areas of the business whilst maintaining our employer brand at all times. You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in challenging projects that shape the future of Asda’s people. Dealing with key stakeholders including our customers and candidates – this is a great opportunity to step up and make an impact. |
| Responsibilities: |
Your accountability covers;
• Stakeholder management - engaging & influencing key stakeholders across retail, distribution, and Asda House
• Flying the flag for Graduate resourcing - being the brand and developing a graduate talent pipeline for Graduates coming into our business.
• Able to represent Asda at key industry meetings, university careers events & with key industry spokespeople such as careers services with confidence, to understand & articulate Asda well as a business
• Working very closely with the Graduate Development Team and Graduate Programme Manager to provide a joined up service to our customers
• Looking at innovative ways to attract & recruit Graduates by understanding the Graduate market
• Managing the Reality assessment centre process from cradle to grave
• Supporting Retail and Distribution with Reality assessment centres, providing guidance and best practice
• Owner of the Graduate metrics to measure, evaluate & monitor success, identifying ways to improve and keep us ahead of the game

| Requirements and Qualifications: |
Essential skills for the job
• Recruitment experience for high volume areas is essential
• To be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Passion for ASDA and recruitment. Role model the ASDA culture and way of working at all times.
• Proven track record of great customer service in high volume areas
• Highly organised/strong administration skills to allow both effective project management and business as usual responsibilities
• The ability to work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels
• Flexible and adaptable to manage your own workload and deal with queries
• Ability to manage change in a fast paced environment
Ideally you should; (Not Essential)
• Have an understanding of the Graduate market
• Have internal resourcing experience
• Be self motivated and must enjoy seeking new ways to improve our service/delivery
• Work well independently as well as being a team player
• Have a good appreciation of recruitment and the current market conditions
• Focused on providing value at low cost
