You will report to the General Store Manager to ensure the effective performance of the different store departments in your area. Leading a team of up to five department managers,you will be given the space and autonomy to make things happen in the departments you oversee. We will expect that you will be able to contribute fully into strategic planning for the store,have a clear vision for your departments and coach your Managers to deliver to the highest standards. |
| Responsibilities: |
Responsible for the effective running of the departments in your area, including the achievement of profit and waste targets.You will need strong commercial and people skills and a passion for customer service. Your leadership skills will be needed to create a results-focused team of Managers and Colleagues to help you deliver excellent sales and standards. Your ability to add humour and make work fun is essential and of course not forgetting another of your primary objectives,which is to develop talent for the future using your coaching skills. |
