| Responsibilities: |
The colleague will be expected to manage vendors to ensure that Asda's expectations for Food Safety, Legality, Quality and NPD in the category are always met. The colleague will need to develop an in depth knowledge of sourcing, products and auditing. The colleague will also be required to travel extensively both in the UK and overseas. A full clean driving licence is essential. |
| Requirements and Qualifications: |
The colleague must have a sound food technical background. The ability to influence colleagues and vendors alike both at home and abroad. A flexible approach to working both overseas and in the UK. Good IT and organisational skills aligned with an attention to detail are essential. |
