This is an exciting opportunity to join the ASDA Media Centre (AMC) team within the Marketing function. The team is responsible for the planning, sales & execution of all supplier funded advertising. The campaigns we deliver for both internal trading categories & ASDA's supplier base must be effective, accurate, timely, in line with Asda brand values, and achieve the required sales uplifts. We pride ourselves on balancing the production of highly effective campaigns whilst being a significant multi million pound revenue stream for the business. This role would provide the ideal stretch to develop skills, gain broad business exposure and demonstrate capability to operate at a higher level. |
| Responsibilities: |
Ownership, planning & delivery of effective, truly integrated media campaigns
• Drive category or supplier briefs from start to finish & ensure proposals from our media portfolio deliver targeted coverage & return for key clients
• Individual accountability for trading categories, media agencies & media platforms
• Drive NPD to introduce new media solutions
Deliver the numbers
• Ownership & delivery of stretching profit plan within the marketing P&L
• Oversee the financial tracker providing P&L monthly reporting
• Support the research and evaluation of AMC campaigns to demonstrate ROI
• Support business planning for 2011
Understand our customer
• Ensure all campaigns are within ASDA brand & customer messaging guidelines
• Multichannel development ensuring engagement with our customers in all media formats
To lead, coach and inspire the media partners to deliver
• Joined up activity planning and collaborative working across all media partners
• Develop and coach ASDA colleagues
• Recognise potential, develop and grow talent within our team & our broader agency base
